Pinkbox Doughnuts honors local police, supports C.O.P.S. charity

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Pinkbox Doughnuts in Boca Park hosted a special event on Saturday to honor local police officers and support the Southern Nevada Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) charity.
The event aimed to thank officers for their service and raise funds for the nonprofit organization, which assists families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
Destiny Whitley, who is the Director of Community Relations for the Siegel Group, says, “We have officers from all departments around Nevada come out.”
Whitley goes on to say, “I feel we need to support our officers, especially during this time. There’s a lot of things that happen every day in Vegas, and our officers continue to step up for us every day, and that’s the least we can do here at Pinkbox.”
The event featured Pinkbox Doughnuts’ iconic doughnut-eating contests, including a special competition for police officers, followed by a children’s contest.
Attendees participated in fundraising activities such as purchasing raffle tickets and trying their luck at a dunk tank featuring local police officers.
A Touch A Truck experience allowed guests to explore retired Las Vegas police vehicles, with one designated as the “Thank an Officer Station.” Visitors wrote thank-you notes and placed them on the vehicle, which were later delivered to police stations across Las Vegas by Pinkbox Doughnuts.
As a token of appreciation, police officers in attendance received a free OG glazed doughnut from the Pinkbox Doughnuts truck.
