Finding Las Vegas’ Tastiest, most Unique Doughnuts is as Easy as Going on a Tour

Why not explore the history and culture of Las Vegas with a doughnut in hand? The Underground Donut Tour takes the adventure away from the Strip and to the heart of downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street for a bite of some sweet treats. The walking tour experience features stops at several locally-owned donut shops; each sharing its piece of Vegas history.

“It’s all about the culture of Las Vegas. It’s giving people a side of Las Vegas that isn’t the Strip,” said Wade Powers, the Underground Donut Tour manager and guide. “We decided to really show off how many amazing doughnuts we have in this town and use as many businesses that are local to give people that real taste of home.”

Pinkbox Doughnuts

“You can get doughnuts anywhere, but you can’t get this experience anywhere,” said Vinnie DiNatale, marketing director for Pinkbox Doughnuts.

Pinkbox Doughnuts is one of Las Vegas’ favorite doughnut shops. The beloved doughnut brand opened its first shop in 2012 and will have a dozen stores in the valley with the opening of its newest location on Saturday, May 18 at the Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Casino.

“It’s a real badge of honor saying it’s a Vegas-born brand,” DiNatale said.

Pinkbox has more than 70 donut flavors on the menu daily as well as a monthly rotating flavor. For Vegas locals, there’s the “Vegas” doughnut, which is a chocolate-frosted raised shell donut filled with Bavarian cream, complete with Vegas décor.
