Pinkbox Doughnuts® Celebrates Grand Opening Celebration for New South Summerlin Store

Pinkbox Doughnuts® will celebrate the grand opening of its new store, located at 9435 W. Tropicana Ave., with a grand opening celebration complete with giveaways and activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.

“Pinkbox has seen so much love from the Las Vegas community and we’re thrilled to be introducing our doughnuts to a new neighborhood,” said Judith Siegel, co-owner of Pinkbox Doughnuts. “We like to say that doughnuts make people smile, and with this opening, we hope to see a lot of new smiles in south Summerlin.”

Starting at 10 a.m., Pinkbox will give away complimentary T-shirts to the first 100 customers. Plus, throughout the duration of the party, a select number of doughnuts will be sold with a pink filling, each granting an entry into a drawing to win the grand prize of free doughnuts for a year. A grand prize winner will be selected at 2 p.m. The party will also host family activities, including doughnut eating competitions, a face painter, a balloon artist and more.

The party will offer samplings of Pinkbox’s signature doughnuts. They include The Station Wagon®, a white frosted yeast bar filled with Butterfinger whip and topped with Butterfinger crumbles; the Pretty in Pink®, a glazed pink velvet cake topped with buttercream frosting and pink velvet crumbles; and Glazed DoughCro® Bites, glazed half croissant doughnut bites.

The new Pinkbox reveals playful design that invites customers into an environment wrapped in whimsy, from walls that appear to be dripping in frosting to a pink neon sign that says, “Every day is a good day for a doughnut.” A miniature, doughnut-shaped table with a circular hoop and accompanying chairs comes with a bean bag toss game for Pinkbox’s smallest patrons.

The displays are designed to showcase hundreds of Pinkbox’s colorfully creative doughnuts, including the Vegas Cream, which is a chocolate frosted yeast doughnut filled with a Bavarian custard and topped with a ‘V’ drizzle; the DoughCro, which is half-croissant and half-doughnut; and PINKY®, the Pinkbox mascot, a vanilla cake doughnut with pink buttercream and pink frosting.

Plus, for the first time, Pinkbox will sell an array of branded items, including: crop-top sweatshirts, T-shirts, hats, hooded sweatshirts, customizable stickers and “squishy balls” made in the likeness of PINKY®. Doughnuts are available for dine-in or take-out, as well as for catering with the capabilities to customize doughnuts with logos, pictures and letters. Like the other shops, the new Pinkbox offers doughnuts for wholesale with deliveries available throughout the Las Vegas Valley with a minimum order requirement.
