The Care Bears are Now at Pinkbox Donuts

The Care Bears event at Pinkbox Donuts was filled with fun treats and activities for everyone to enjoy! While waiting to buy donuts, customers could be face painted, receive a balloon animal, grab a free t-shirt, or dance to the DJ. Also, Funshine Bear and Pinky made an appearance to take pictures with people and their donuts. I saw so many people walk out with dozens of donuts, but they looked so good, they were hard to resist.

I purchased 3 Care Bear donuts myself because I had to try them. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The donut was airy, soft, and a perfect amount of sweet. Along with the taste of the donuts, the look of them were absolutely adorable. While I had the opportunity to preview all the Care Bear donuts, Pinkbox will only be offering 1 Bear per month. In April, you can purchase Funshine Bear, in May, Cheer Bear, and in June, Grumpy Bear. There will be a new bear of the month every month up to October.

Glen Taylor Elementary School were special attendants of the event because Pinkbox is partnering with CCSD to give back to the schools. A select group of students attended the Care Bear event and were able to join in all the fun.

This is what faculty member Ryan Devries had to say about the event. “Dozens of Glen Taylor Elementary School Student Council and “most improved” students were invited to Pinkbox Doughnuts to enjoy free doughnuts, music, and special mascot appearances from the Care Bears and Pinky. A Saturday event, where the kids were able to take a break from their SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium) tests.”

It was rewarding to see how much fun all of the students were having and how kindly all the staff members were interacting with them.
